Auterion is Named 2nd Place Winner for Fleet Management Software and 3rd Place for Detect & Avoidance Solutions

We are thrilled to announce Auterion’s 2nd and 3rd place awards from AUVSI Xponential 2019 — the annual international gathering for leaders in unmanned technology. The awards are for best fleet management software and solutions and detect and avoidance solutions respectively.
“Auterion was named as a finalist in three categories of the XCELLENCE Awards by the Association for Unmanned Vehicles Systems International: Detect & Avoid, Fleet Management Software & Solutions, and Safety Solutions,” said Kevin Sartori, Co-founder at Auterion. “We could not be happier about placing so highly within two of the most important categories with respect to the future of commercial drones.”
The awards demonstrate the increased influence and value of open source in the drone industry. Auterion is the largest contributor to the PX4 ecosystem and will continue to invest in the open source community.
Auterion is powering the next generation of commercial drones, and recently announced a DIU contract worth $2M, as well as teaming agreement with GE Aviation around autopilot (part of the NASA Unmanned Aircraft Systems Traffic Management – UTM) Technical Capability Level TCL 4 operation.
