Auterion Launches Nemyx, Enabling Fully Coordinated Drone Swarms

September 3, 2025

Swarm operates across multiple drone platforms to strike multiple targets autonomously

Arlington, VA and Munich, Germany – 3 September 2025 – Auterion, a global leader in autonomous drone operating systems, today introduced Nemyx, a cross-platform drone swarm strike engine that coordinates drones from different manufacturers. Nemyx enables multiple drones to act as a single, coordinated unit, executing AI-guided operations with speed, precision, and scale.

A demonstration video shows a swarm autonomously engaging two separate tank targets at the same time, with multiple drones coordinating each strike seamlessly. Powered by AuterionOS, Nemyx allows any compatible drone to join the swarm through a simple software upgrade, transforming individual platforms into a collective, intelligent system.

Nemyx takes autonomous defense capabilities to a new level,” said Lorenz Meier, CEO of Auterion. “By combining real-time AI, computer vision, and Skynode S-equipped drones, we’ve created a solution that rapidly identifies, prioritizes, and neutralizes multiple threats. Soldiers can deploy swarms that operate as a single force – whether from a rucksack or a truckload.”

The demonstration represents the global showcase of a kinetic swarm system coordinating drones from multiple manufacturers. Nemyx builds on Auterion’s operational experience, including deployments in Ukraine, and will be rolled out with local software and hardware partners to integrate into the Ukrainian ecosystem.

Nemyx allows drones from any manufacturer with AuterionOS to operate together in a single, intelligent swarm. Real-time AI and computer vision enable multiple targets to be engaged simultaneously, increasing operational effectiveness, precision, and survivability while reducing mission complexity. The system can scale from small units to large formations and is delivered as an app on AuterionOS, compatible with Auterion’s SLM-10 reference design and Skynode avionics—already adopted by manufacturers in the US and Europe.

Auterion is currently shipping more than 33,000 Skynode units to Ukraine, with global deliveries expected to surpass 50,000 units within six months, all capable of receiving the Nemyx swarm upgrade.

Nemyx transforms individual drones into a coordinated swarm, multiplying mission impact and operational efficiency,” Meier added. “It’s a decisive advancement in unmanned systems, making autonomous drones operational at scale.”
